LedgerPal™ is a full accounting suite including general ledger, billing & invoicing, accounts receivable, inventory and more that is hosted in the "cloud". It is 100% reliable, stable, accurate and secure. You never have to install or upgrade anything because the latest and greatest version is always on and ready to use. All you need is web access to use it and a browser, iPad or smart phone (like an iPhone or Blackberry for instance)—any web connected device will work. So unlike traditional computer based software, LedgerPal™ can be accessed by many users (with a secure password) from multiple locations. This makes it ideal for situations where you need to share your accounting records and enable billing and other functions between multiple users in different locations (an accountant in one town, sales people on the road and inventory staff at a warehouse, for instance).

How safe is it to put my accounting data on the web?

Do you access your banking over the web now? If so then you know how secure it can be. LedgerPal™ uses the same security that banks do. And it is hosted in the same “cloud” that many of North Americas biggest banks and financial institutions are hosted in. However, there is one big difference — with your banking you can actually transfer money in and out of accounts, but with LedgerPal™ you are only doing accounting record keeping...it doesn't have the ability to move your money. This makes it even safer than online banking.
